Home and Office at No.10

The Prime Minister lives at No.10 Downing Street.
The Prime Ministers Office is located at No 10 Downing Street.
You know what this means…………………

Yes, like millions of us – he works from home!

And, just like many of us, he combines working from home with working near to his home.  He works locally.

It is a 7 minute walk for the Prime Minister to his local work hub – the Houses of Parliament.  He can cycle there in less than that.  Hence, no commute or public transport required and it is the ideal way to get that Fitbit going. Not only that, he works a form of annualised hours at his local hub with a long recess from July to September.

He oversees the operation of the Civil Service and regularly visits Civil Service Hubs and Co-working spaces around the United Kingdom.

Just like all of us, earlier this year, he perfected the use of Zoom for meetings with his Cabinet. Furthermore, he can literally work any time, any place, any where in the back of his chauffeur driven, Jaguar XJ Sentinel.

At the end of a busy week of socially distanced face to face or virtual meetings, he takes regular weekend breaks to his holiday home to refresh and recharge.

A shining example to us all of Smart Working!
